when you tthink outside the box all you are really doing is applying skills that byou already learned in one source of employment and applying them to your current employment. E.G. I worked on a boat as a stewardesss/cook and medical person in charge. When I changed careers to a retail environment I was able to compare certain situations such as the girl who feels sick may be pregnant and have difficulty with retail sales until she can adjust, just like when wer hit high seas and one girl refused to take seasick pills I thought outside the box, "she did not want to say so, however she usually knew she was pregnant and would rather be sick than take a possibly harmful medicine that would affect unborn child. So thinking outside the box is simply switching knowledge that you already have from a past experience and then applying it to your current situation. JUST ANALYZE, EVALUATE AND SWITCH THE LOCATION/JOB DESCRIPTION!!!
