This is a two part question. One should make reference to the personal self-growth during the previous job/internship but also speak of accumulated job skills. Remember, the more success stories brought up will only help the interviewer to create a connection between past achievements to success in your future, working for their company.
Good luck!

From my previous internship which was a community based counseling program, I learned about the inner-workings/problems of our local community, and of what we could do help. Some of our key problems were adult alcoholism and its affect on families, 1st to 2nd generational differences and stemming misunderstandings, promoting cultural identity and recognizing issues, etc. There were some great technical skills that I was taught, such as grant-writing skills, the skills used to organize big events such as the SeaFair parade, cultural festivals, or certain political campaigns. Our final project was to create a ESL program for newly immigrated families and their children under a certain income level, (who could not afford private tutors but ESL classes in school were not sufficient). We presented this program to a board of sponsors, and in that experience alone, learned about professional presentations and how to market ideas. Though I was 16 at the time, these are carried skills that I use daily and that reminds me of how we all play a important part of a community.

Where you gained this experience.
Your response is about what things 'we' did as employee of a company. Your response it dependent and doesn't support other places you've worked at or personal growth.
Perhaps you should answer the question as asked: For example, I gained this experience from working at XYZ Company. Blue Mountain Gas, and Budget Store Rentals where I was the Supervisor.
