The answer is YES. State laws are all about accepting diversity, from discrimination laws against age, race, sexual orientation, disability, marriage status, etc. You can even include the idea that diversity brings about a competitive advantage, maintains a healthy work environment, and that the idea of diversity also includes informational differences. Diversity is important because it holds a direct performance on how a team handles conflict, that is, constructive differences that builds towards a stronger team.

There is a definite need to have a well rounded and diversified working team to find solutions for the challenges ahead of us. If we learn to interact and communicate efficiently and in a positive manner with everyone - the better our chances to succeed will be.

I think diversity is healthy for a team when it comes to working together. Some black people usually don't shop in stores like hollister or aeropostle. I think like having different diversities will actually make a team and a store better. I'm a black girl and I usally don't shop in stores like that but when I did I seen diversity in the store and it made me feel more comfortable to be in there instead of me feeling like I didn't belong there.
