Answer this honestly. If you prefer to work with people, a purely technical job will leave you uninspired. On the other hand, if you prefer to work with information, you may find a job that requires a lot of personal interaction exhausting and you are unlikely to be as effective as you might be otherwise.

Cater this answer to the job you are seeking. If you know ahead of time that this is a job consisting of technical work and that there will be very few cases of human interaction, answer that you work well with information. If you know that it will be a job where meetings, and interpersonal relationship are key, talk about how much you enjoy building relationships. You can always vie for a balanced answer.

This seems like a trick question to me.In some jobs you may need to answer both.You may need the information to help the people so before you choose one or the other review the job description.
