“My professor once told me that I became very analytical once I immerse myself in the work, and therefore, sometimes missed the bigger picture and forgot many of my original ideas. Now when I’m given a prompt, I take a step back to look at the bigger picture, jot down any outside-the-box ideas that come up, and then begin my work. It has helped me to transact my work more efficiently and successfully, more thoroughly, with a better remaining understanding of it.
